Everyone has heard of the Swiss Army Knife. In 1999, through Inventegration®, an addition was made to this American icon that was licensed to Victorinox, Inc. and later patented (US Patent # 6619225).
It all started with an idea our client, Alexander from California, had for incorporating an extremely loud emergency whistle (102db) into the original product. If you are lost or in an emergency situation, you would simply blow the S.O.S. signal pattern for rescue. Through our Inventegration® process, we created a new housing to replace the standard red plastic cover that gave the whistle a dual tone design. Our client thanked us by writing "Davison has expertly produced an Inventegration® of my idea both in a virtual reality presentation and as the final product as it would appear in the marketplace. My invention could not be in better hands."
