Divide-A-Drawer (a.k.a. Pocketed Drawer Divider)

The Problem:
A homemaker wanted to solve the age-old problem of how to separate different color socks in a sock drawer. It was also a difficult task to locate various color socks in the dark in the early morning or late evening hours.

The Solution:
Davison worked closely with the client to create a product that would not only keep items separate, but is adjustable via spring-loaded rods that fit inside most drawers. By adding small cut and sewn pockets to hold smaller items, consumers can customize the inside of their drawers effectively and inexpensively. In addition, Davison helped license this product to a major distributor of houseware related products. The product comes with a set of two dividers and has eight pockets total. It is also a great drawer organizer for wallets, glasses, and watches.

The client has not realized a net profit on this product.
